2026 Arrowhead EMS Conference Special Events

Each year the conference planning committee looks to offer special events that make the conference something a little more than a great educational event. This year, we will be announcing special events over the coming months. We have a few new surprises up our sleeve thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. We are looking forward to a very fun year.

Wills for Heroes

To support emergency personnel in our community who are prepared to pay the ultimate price in the line of duty, the Wills for Heroes program provides first responders with the peace of mind of knowing their affairs are in order should the unthinkable occur. This program is designed to provide free legal services to First Responders in preparation of basic estate planning documents. First Responders include: police officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, corrections officers, and the spouses or widow/widowers of such personnel.

The Minnesota program was started by the MSBA Probate and Trust Section and is sponsored by the MSBA. To serve First Responders, a group of volunteer attorneys and data entry personnel will go to emergency service sites across the state of Minnesota and set-up a clinic, at which time the volunteer attorneys will draft basic Wills, Powers of Attorney and Health Care Directives for eligible First Responders and their spouses. Please sign up for this wonderful service, which will be at the DECC on January 24, 2026! Must sign up beforehand!

2026 Memorial Blood Center Blood Drive

Arrowhead EMS Association is proud to partner with Memorial Blood Centers & LifeLink III for a conference blood drive! We are deeply grateful to our attendees for considering this life-saving opportunity to support patients at Northland hospitals. Blood supplies are critically low, and healthy donors are essential to ensuring care for those in need. Your generosity can make a tremendous difference in our community.

The blood drive will take place in the Edmund Fitzgerald Hall on Friday and Saturday during the conference. All presenting donors will receive a free T-shirt from Memorial Blood Centers and be entered for a chance to win a prize! Both whole blood and double red cell donations are urgently needed, so we encourage all eligible attendees to participate. Thank you for being a part of this important effort!
